Vs. 2012 Civic Si
I'm coming home from downtown (not drinking) about 20 minutes ago. A new Civic Si with the paper plates whizzes by me and slows down. He doesn't honk, he just downshifts and tries to take off, so I downshift and completely demolish him from 50-100. I don't go over 100, so I shut it down and he blows by me. I'm about 5 miles from home and I can see him up in the distance. The thing is, he drives all the way to my neighborhood. He live 4 doors down. I'll post a pic up of the car, tomorrow.
I have a 2006 Si, so I know these things are dogs.

I (not personally, was a passenger) raced a 2012 si. In a 2000 si. Yesterday, I really expected a lot more out of the new ones... Friend has a 126hp whatever series honda motor that is? Haha. And the new one barely creeped by us.. Definetly not impressed with the new Civics.

Maybe he through a different one in? It's not my car.. I didn't expect to go into great detail. All I know is its a 1.6 vtec 126hp. Hell, I could give him a text and ask how, when, where, why that motor is put into his car for. All I know is it's an si. (At least body-wise) and it has that motor. You can argue all day about it if you want I'm telling you what it is and what it got end of story.

Most people just don't know all the freaking Honda motor numbers, because they're so damn confusing. B16A2, B16A6, B16yourmama.........etc. I hate Honda, sometimes.

Haha yeah they got way too many variations but that's cause they were released everywhere with different laws and restrictions an junk. I don't know them all by heart or nothin just the major ones and 2000 si's have the best body style imo is why I know that one .

I don't follow up on Hondas very much. But I'm going by what he says. Maybe you guys are right, I'm not the one to say. Regardless, 126hp vs 200 and a few, and he barely came by us.. Then looked over at us in a badass way as if he was the king of the road? You just creeped past a car 12 years older with 350 thousand more kilometres.. Probably bragging to his friends about it.
