i've spanked a 11 civic si. Headin out of town i kept smokin him from ~70 - 110/120km/h, he kept doin ricer flybys everytime at about 100km/ after I'd already pulled up to about 115 and slowed back down to 80-90. Eventually I let him stay in front of me, and once we started to get out of the city he punched his second gear. Basically, I punched it too(at about 60km/h, single lane highway), and by about 90 I had to let off the gas as I was literally right on his ass. He shifted into third and was still punchin it and by this time im just feathering the gas sittin on his tail, as there was no opportunity to pull by.

****, i raced like an 05 accord one time that was probably almost as fast as that civic.. civic si's need a decent amount of work to keep up to ss/sc's stock

same thing lol they're all k series idk what version of the k the new ones are but a h/i/e kpro k20 from an rsx-s or the new civics will keep up with a stock ss/sc and fall a few cars behind a 3.0/42 hptuned lsj. throw a turbo on and you have 500hp stock motor lol.

500 hp for about two gears before it blows lol. They are strong motors but not that strong. newer si is faster than a sc.. 14.5 vs 14.9 1/4 times. But the mod vs mod the si is garbage. You can only get so much out of a na 4 twanger.

I believe the fastest 1/4 mile for a ss/sc stock was a 14.1

My friends 2000 Civic Si is a 1.6-litre B16. I'm literally standing in front of my friends car right now. I live in Canada.

And to sum up hondas, they have basically never made a fast car ever. Great to mod if you enjoy that sort of thing, because they need them the most lol.

My nieghbor has a friend with a new SI. I asked him how fast it was and this ****** had the oddacity to tell me it ran a 14.1 quarter mile. I said, "Wow, thats unbelievable"

He did know I wasnt being figurative when I said that... I asked what was the trap speed and he didnt know. I asked what kind of mods are on the car. He said stock. I asked what kind of tires it has, factory bridgestone tires.

I live next to ricers

fast by todays standards? maybe not. back when they were created, sure did. but i wouldn't expect a close minded 16 year old to know such a wild crazy idea.

ummm please go do some research, the k motors are high compression therefore require less boost and even if they were similar to lsj lnf compression 300 is nothing, i'm sure i'm well over 300 on 15psi on my s252et judging by the ricer math that i spin half of third and the more logical airflow from logs comparing to my buddies tuned lnf.

actually just for you, i'll post one of them
Derek Robinson's 1998 Honda Civic DX Coupe - Cars - Innovative MotorWorks

there's at least 3 more not in the 600's but high 400 low-mid 500 k motor cars around here alone. and i live in bumfuck, such results are nothing new.

there are s/c ones in the 400's or close to it with an m62 also lol.

I used to be like you, pos honda, pos honda. then i got my ass handed to me by just all motor cars, let alone boosted ones. granted i was gms2 but you get the picture.

my apologies, i read somewhere else the 05 ss was 14.9 stock. Apparently not. I still don't believe it's 4 tenths slower when 0-60 is 3 tenths slower than the tc..

civic si 14.7

Stock block doesn't include the head, which isn't a stock motor. find another spouter.

hmmm, seems you may have never heard of such a common thing as a STOCK LONGBLOCK. If it had headwork you would think that it would be noted as things that don't even come into play like what type of bov and such are listed. even if the head was touched, which is obvious it wasn't, it's 600hp headwork isn't going to make more than 100hp without something crazy...but i know, i know, he had the dyno re-calibrated to get a bigger number, he added headlight fluid during the dyno pull, and he had an ls9 swap. way to make yourself look stupid. if it had headwork he could rev much further than it is.....

another one of the local ones, he's cheating though i know, lying about his mods, he even has a robins nest in the engine bay he didn't list, how rude.
