While I was Car sitting my buddies SS/TC
So last year at Thanksgiving my buddie went home and left me is 09 SS/TC to watch. And gave me the keys So I was at the gas station and this guy came up to me asking for money and since it was the holidays I gave him $20. He said thank you and started asking me about the car and what not. I told him the ins an outs of it so finally he said start it up I wanna hear it.
I started it and he really wanted me to rev it up so I did. You all know Catless DP and straight pipe on these are pretty loud and well ya it was loud (Pulled a ricer move). I think that made his day more then the $20. haha I drive away and look in my rear view mirror and see headlights dodgin in and out of traffic thinkin "well here we go."
I get to the light and this v6 Camaro with this kid pulls up and was like "Lets run em." I explained its not my car and I don't wanna be responsible if something happens. He finally talks me into doing a little dig. We did a little pull I was in 2nd and just walked him, stayed in it till the end of 3rd. We get to the next light and the kid was amazed. He was like "Holy S*$^ What is done to that Cobalt!?" Haha just said bolt ons and a good tune. Kid ended up being super cool and talked to him at the car show the next weekend. That was my Turkey Day Kill. Happy Thanksgiving!

I raced a grand am in my friends TC lmao. Good choice I brought my radar detector from mine before I left!
I did the same thing, not my car! Of course the person is skeptical lol. Then im like, **** it, TC's OUT!! and roasted him lol
According to you guys, not only do I beat on my car, but I basically do the car equivalent to prison sodomy to it as well.. EVERY SINGLE TIME I DRIVE IT.

I realize this now. I told him about it he didn't care at all. All he said was have a full tank when he gets back an don't beat on it too hard, so I had permisson to drive it. Not like I was riding around town looking for a race.

Ya looks like when I get mine I'll be "beatin" on it just in order to get up to speed on the freeway haha
Haha I consider myself a law abiding citizen. If thats the only law I've "basically broken" then i'll be ok.

If i tusted a friend enough to drive my car in the first placed, im sure that friendship was strong enough to laugh at his quick race.
Of course im 37 and my buddies could buy me one if they fucked it up.

I love all the nancy girls saying you beat on his car...
First it's tuned,
Second, it's modded,
Third. He gave you the keys, that in itself says have fun.
If he is like me I doubt the care has "taken it easy" especially if tuned.
Fun wasn't it?

I only let certain friends drive my cars, I've learned over the years who I can trust... The ones I do trust isn't because they won't beat on them its because if they break something they will fix it. I KNOW when I let them drive it they are going to get on them, its part of owning modified cars. Its the same if I drive one of theirs and they understand that if I screw something up I will fix it.
