Doubt it... I'll put money on it that the car will ACTUALLY beat the Cobalt. A K24 Hatch is NO JOKE. If it were just a stock K24... it'll give MY 270whp Cobalt a run for it's money. Those old, light hatches only needed about 180whp to keep up with me when I was just Stg2 w/ 2.8.
I'll bet the car is CAPABLE of beating an SS/SC... they just don't know how to properly film a race.

Don't under estimate the power of the V-TEC.
I, myself, have lost to quite a few very high HP Honda's.
Never an N/A one though. Of course... I've never raced a hatch with a K20 or K24 swap, either.
K24 hatch at Northwest Imports series round 3 - I wanna see you beat his time

I will say that he will need a lot DONE to beat the SS like he claims to have done. But it is possible.
