Well if its stock, he is not running 25 psi. Maybe high teens. I think the only way you might have a problem is if he has it tuned like a ****. But you should take him.

A buddy of mine had a gsx with exhaust, intake, and boost controller and i didnt have a problem beating him when i was stock.

edit: read your sig, YOU WILL WIN hint you can drive.

have you done any serious tuning with your ride yet? I have the same pulley and wanted to know.

I've raced a 96 talon turbo when I was stock and though he got me in first gear, all throughout from second to fourth, I pulled on him. If you do actually make it over 100 then the race is yours; those talons run out of breath while you are mid-way through third. You'll be fine.

bov is losing power on shift unless he has somthing compensating for it like a gm maf with maf translator. id say that all the other stuff maybe adds him a few hp but not much, if its a gsx then you will romp it from a 40 and idk bout the dig, my buddy in his tsi talon ate a stage 2 tuned and with all mods you got plus a few and he just had some tuning exhaust and fmic but he ended up spitting really hard and we found out his one plug was bad. but now hes 450+awhp and getting ready to build more and higher boost with a new turbo... but all in all you should tear up the eclipse but watch out if it isnt the awd cuz itll be just a lil lighter and may save it a .1 or .2 at most

bov is not losing power. If the car is equiped with a bov and a maf meter. the bov is vented after the maf so no power loss.

you will win by default, its a dsm with a 2nd gen motor, the crank is going to take a walk. if it doesnt, something else will break first.

as a friend of mine (who ows a talon) always say "the way to get in good with dsm guys is to always have tools on hand"

ok then tell me why my friends tsi talon on a dyno showed a smaller hp/tq curve right after shifting when it was vented over when it was recirculating??? slowboy racing reccomended that we put the maf after the blow off valve right before the throttle body so maybe ur srt-4 is different the way it should be set-up

my friend has a 7bolt dsm (which is known for crank walk, not the 6bolt from 1st gen) and he put down 355awhp (forget tq and crank numbers) on completely stock motor and tranny with 140,000+ miles... it ran fine for a few months til he bent 4 valves and rebuilt it now it puts over 500 to the wheels and has shepard tranny and fully built with a garrett gt3582r and he still doesnt have crank walk but once he does hes going with the 6bolt long block and even more mods over what he got now.....

all in all the eclipse is a gs-t which will be a lil lighter than a gsx but you should walk all over it. end of story

Hey man, do you have any pics of your car? I see you have the Konig Hotswap with the carbon fiber inserts. I've always wanted to see how they look on the balt.

There is a **** tons of ways you can do it. But the best way is to have the maf meter, hole where the exhaust from the bov, turbo, and then the bov and then the throttle body. The way they told you is pretty much the same but i just wouldnt want there to be more joints in the piping for boost leaks. the meter just has to meter all the air without any exchaping otherwise you get false reading, causeing rich settings.

Srt-4s dont have maf meters so i dont have to worry about any of that ****.
