Here ya go.Mazda 6. Dude talked **** that his 230 horse car would smoke my 4 banger. He even had a jump on the start cause he didn't do 3 honks like i told him to do, Dick. Sorry it sucks, my Fiance is bad at filming and then the pass to my buddy in the back, disaster. Did i mention i had 3 people in my car and he was alone?? All said and done it was about 8 cars

Mazda 6 ownage

FWD with lots of HP and those tires = great smoky burnouts but a good launch isn't that easy.

dude, SE-Rs arent that slow. in your sig it says you ran a 14.79, well i ran a 14.7 as well while i was at the track and there was an SE-R that was running consistent 14.9s and lower. my BEST was a 14.7. one little mistake and that SE-R would have had me. dont think that the ss/sc is unbeatable. other cars need some respect.

i figured out how to do it fairly quickly at the track, i know i'm not the best, but it was my r/t that slowed me down, not the launch.

just type in cobalt ss at youtube.. there are 10 pages of corny vids of some guy with the camera under his car, or us getting powned. all though there are a few wins.. its far from 50/50

I don't know if you know this or not, but r/t has no affect on your 1/4 mile time.

Are you????

When at the track you can sit at the line for 10 seconds after it goes green (r/t) and it will have NO AFFECT ON YOUR 1/4 MILE TIME!!

I was always under the impression that the timer doesn't start until you leave the line, so i believe that e-thug43v3r is correct. Maybe different tracks are different, but that is what I have always come to understand.

If you are racing someone it will affect who crosses the finish line first, but it will not affect your 1/4 mile time.

Edit: e-thug43v3r beat me to it.

i have been to atco nj 4 times, and it seemed everytime my r/t got better my 1/4 times were better.
anyway, my first time i stalled at the line, and my r/t was almost 6 seconds... a pretty good run.. my time was 20.4.. so i think it starts when the tree goes down man
