xCobalt05x VS C5 Base Vette.
I raced a vette tongiht. Not sure about his mods. He said he had stuff done to it and the obvious was the exhaust. I think he may have had an intake not sure.
Anyways, like an idiot i agreed to race this Vette and pretty sure i was going to be smoked.
A guy i know on this site can vouch for this shocking news.
So i get up to the line, held my R's around 2500 while hodling the brake. Get a slight boost going since im an automatic. The hands drop, and WOW i beat this moded vette off the line, and not only that i keep pulling and then i hit full boost about 80 ft from the line and start pulling cars on this vette. Race number 1 was a finish of about 2 to 2 1/2 cars. We get to the turn around point and the guy rolls down his window and asks to run em again becasue he said he left his traction control on. I agree to it again. This time was even worse, he had bad traction for his launch and i jumped 1 car right off the bat from the line. 80ft later i pull more cars on this guy and finish about 3 to 4 cars ahead.
GO 2.2 turbo!!!

Yep. That is hard to believe 
but I've beaten cars I shouldn't have. Who knows.. I know one thing if it didn't happen then I doubt you would make up that story knowing what wolves we are in this forum as were gonna jump ya instantly

who cares what he beat? he still won. nice race. you beat the car bc someone has to drive it. most ppl that bench race go by numbers from pro race drivers. c5's arent that scary. good race.

u beat ryan....... with the misouri plates...... black vette with chromies....... flowmaster exhaust thats beefy as hell.... how many gears did he miss....... there has to be a logical explanation.... but if this is true id be ashamed that i have such an expensive car.....

Did you pull the motor and have it dyno'd on an engine dyno? lol if not then that number means nothing

I wasn't trying to hurt his feelings... or any disrespect... just saying those cars turn low 13's-high 12's, if he pulled one off of the line, it was the drivers fault... not denying the kill, just saying dont expect it to happen all the time

Actually when it comes to C5's they can be pretty lame depending on which year it is. The A4 cars before performance ratios were introduced had 2.73's and were dogs off the line. A LS1 F-Body will actually pull on them until you really get moving.

Hell yea!!!! Another weak ass overrated LS1 gets shitpushed!!!! Those LS1s are soooooooo outdated....soon LSx motos will be phased out for the 2.2 simply because its a better motor and obviously more capable!!!
