I agree, the douche bag drivers give all the decent drivers a bad name. Hell, there's a couple moron Cobalt drivers out this way. Couple youngins that make the rest of us look bad. Ass monkies

We are arguing a mute point. The GTO is hands down better than the Cobalt SS, but not the best car in the world. We are here arguing on the same grounds of Hamburger Helper vs. Tuna Helper. It doesn't matter which one is actually better, it's up to your own tastes.
And for the Predator tune........why? That costs as much as HPTuners and doesn't seem as fun.

Yeah, no time to update the badges on the car yet. It still says Supercharged on the doors and trunk too.
A little misleading.
Same setup on stock internals yielded 330whp
This car has, heads, cam, valves, springs, lower compression pistons, rings, head gasket, studs, headers, exhaust, dualpass intercooler, heat exchanger, etc.
The gloves are off................
A little misleading.

By the way, the GTO should be better then the Cobalt, it's a bit more expensive. With price usually comes higher quality products. Keep in mind, I said usually. lol

Not so much that your parts are more expensive, but the factory quality is higher, Pontiac has ALWAYS had higher quality parts in their rides, hence the higher price tags. As far as aftermarket goes, you'll have to pay a bit more cause you have a larger car and also headers in the plural form comes to mind. lol...More pipeing means slightly more money, but then again, it's all about the market.

Exactly! It's like $1,600 for a gear change + Labor. Not as cheap as a Camaro or mustan at all. You can do gears in those cars for like $300
Anywho the turbo Bananna is a success so far. We are already up to 17psi boost and that's only 60% of its capability. The thing moves pretty good so far, cant wait to get it up to 25psi like we had hoped.
Your car isn't stock! But it says so in your sig.

I myself don't like aftermarket intakes unless it's something like a lid on a LS1 or it gets rid of resonator chambers. I opted for the Drop-In only due to alot of LS2 CAI kits throwing off maf readings. That and the OE box and tube is pretty good.
As for the programer I didn't see a whole lot of raw HP but the changes it makes to the TM and other babysitters makes a hell of a difference. The LS2's had so many babysitters it was driving me crazy.

On the GTO there is no need to really put an intake on the car until you have Cams. You are right, no need to funk up your MAF for the sake of very little whp gains. This is especially on the LS2s which have a large intake tube and throttle body. The LS1s could use a little bit more breathing room, but a throttle body is a better place to start there.
I bought a K&N and BBK 80 MM throttle body off a forum member for 150 bucks used...first mod I did and I definitely don't regret it.
