Tell ya what save your $1000 and buy a fabbed intake to get rid of that half assed set-up you got.
I know for a fact how reliable cars like your run so I wouldn't be betting anyone utill it could drive a thousand miles straight without a single problem.
Not to mention you will need more than 280whp.

I don't really give a **** how fast my GTO is I have other means of transportation that is faster.

So there was a debate between a turbo RL and GTO owners which lead to a lack of a posted timeslip from the GTO owner.
Then, a GTO owner posted a timeslip of an SRT-4 that ran a 13.2 at over 120 mph (which is borderline useless. A High 12 second car is still faster technically cause roll racing doesn't count in the real world) for some reason that baffles me.
So, in order to continue this on topic discussion, do I post a timeslip that my Evo ran?? Or a timeslip that my streek bike ran, considering that has about as much to do with the RL vs GTO debate as a tire spinning SRT-4.

This coming from someone with a pillar mounted 3 gauge pod.
Sorry not a ricer but if I had to turbo a car that was S/C it wouldn't reuse S/C parts. If I was going to do all of that work I would spend the time and money making a intake and using a larger intercooler more suited for higher boost applications.
If for some reason I was going to retain the OE heat exchanger I would have a custom TB and plenum made.

No offense but most gauge pods are like jewelery for a car.
Some of the SS/SC's I have seen were running a few gauges with there only mode being Stage 2. What were they thinking "Holy **** better make sure I don't blow this thing up ".
My comment made about as much sense as his when he assume I gave a **** about the piping.
It's almost as good of a comment as whats his name with the Redline thinking I care how fast his car is.
Truth is he made a smart ass comment and I made one back then he targeted me thinking I give a **** about his fragile ego.

If you knew ANYTHING you'd know liquid to air is more efficient which is why I kept it. I DID have an adapter made but decided on reusing the s/c casing for simplicity of hooking up stock sensors and because it allowed other parts to work properly.
