my money is on dan making you look like a bitch.

you are looking at whp. you're not looking at weight.

BTW, a stock 5.7 gto, which you do not have. you bought one with mods. isn't much a challenge for most people on this site.

He doesn't have a 5.7L anymore. He totalled that one, and now has the 6.0L.

But he did have a 5.7 with Cams etc......not exactly stock.

I can understand where he is coming from. In General, Cobalts/Redlines are indeed slow.

Only 1% of all the owners will maybe go Turbo and make serious power. That 1% doesn't mean these cars are fast.

Damn slow GTO's!! But seriously I know I dont drive the fastest car eva. I bought this car knowing it has the potential to be 400 whp without having to go through the crap I did on the balt to get to 270-280 hp. Damn that was a long sentence.

ahhh haa i see
i have no run a 6.0 car, so i can not speak on that term of things. i have run a couple 5.7 cars and made them look silly. im not in the 1% of cars over 300. im just in the 1% of silly people who push things too far

hell a stock imp ss/monte ss/ gp gxp will make a stage 2 cobalt look like a bitch at the track.

im not telling you your cars are shittie , there fun , good gas milage , nice peppy car for 21k new , but to make 350 WHP and race it down a straight line track , i think its somewhat safe to say that the cobalt isnt one of the best choices , now on a road course thats different , haha and i definately dont have Napolean Complex , im just trying to make you guys realize the ******* truth

yes, i am fully aware of that.

not every drive is john force. so there is a window of error that can, and will most likely occur. i have seen stock 6.0 gto's run 13.6's and some run 12.80's same track. same day, both bone stock. both auto's. window of driver error.

Dude...stock gtos are a joke...give me tune/exhaust/intake ones at least...6.0L too

You should really make the power first before you talk **** with it...That's what separates the men from the boys...the ability to back up the talk with the walk.

And that's why I roll raced the cobalts I raced. I wanted as close of a race as possible. Not one of those "I jumped 4 cars ahead and it was all downhill from there"

just to add insult to injury here.
went to the track last night. there was 5 gto's there. 3 6.0's and 2 5.7 cars.

the fastest was the 5.7 car with i/h/e/dr's 13.50
2 of the 6.0 cars could not break 13's
1 of the 6.0 cars went 13.8
in the 4 hours i was there, this was their fastest times.

some say that they can't drive, which is most likely true. not everyone is a pro driver, get used to it. your car was not created by god. it was created by craig christ. brother to jesus. he turns coors light into a yellow stream.

You get what you get. I can see how all of those times are valid. But How did they compare to the other cars in question? Here in AZ the cars always tend to run slower times than elsewhere.
