We need some new material. Let's stop talking about the hyPATHETICal, and start talking about the actual. I went and raced 2 different SS's in fair races, even giving one a head start.
Let's have some people post their ACTUAL stories of them vs. the GTO, and not someone posts,"Well.....well.....if that GTO ran that 14.2 again, and I ran my 14.1 again I would beat it. And, and if we were racing from a roll (or a dig), then it would have been a different story. I only lost because of this...and that reason....otherwise I would have PWNED him."
Let's get off the paper and go race someone. I gave both of those cobalts a roll race, which is in their favor (and is more likely situation on the streets). Go do what you want and come back with your Weekend Warrior stories. HOMEWORK NOW ASSIGNED.

my gto kills
ss/sc vs stock 5.7 car. 40 punch. ugly for him, i stopped after i put two cars on him.
gxp vs 6.0 goat.
my mods, intake, 1.8 rockers, catless dp, ecm/tcm mods, mufflers, 50 shot. car put down 309 on that set up to the tire.
his gto.
6spd. cat back, intake, relocated iat.
60 punch, i hit the button, put a car on him by 110.
40 punch. hit he button again, put a half a car on him. after he got the half car jump off the hit. it was some close races really.
my gxp on this set up. 13.4@106 all day every day.
best was 13.21@108 on a 65 shot.

I too owned a Cobalt Capable of spanking the GTO so I know it happens and is possible. Let's see more.

Enough with the mullet bullshit I would rather have a nice 2002 WS6 than my GTO.
Hell I would take a nice 2002 F-Body over 90% of new cars today.

I think from the outside they look great, but the interior is shitty in the F-bodies. They look like they are 20 years old on the inside. Not a very comfortable car IMO. And if the WS6 was stock we'd be having the same arguements about it as we are here, because BlurpleSS and I beat a Intake Exhaust WS6 2 times each back to back. Yeah the WS6 can be faster than the GTO, but the F-body is not for me. matter of personal taste. I prefer a closer, shorter haircut.
