Although I miss my GTO once and a while I still have no regrets going to a C6.
LS2 3700lbs GTO < LS2 3200lbs C6
Bought my GTO new for $29,000 and my C6 new For $40,000 and wish I would have just skipped a step and went C6 right away. Don't get me wrong GTO's are nice but with all it takes to match a C6 I couldn't resist.

Beasutiful Brazen goat BTW.
You all know what's funny, really? I had a 500 whp 2006 M6 >> (6-spd GTO) and bought a 2008.5 SS\TC for one reason, MPG's of which I get 25.8 in the city. Compared to my 16 mpgs in the city for the old GOAT. but what's funny is all the other GTO car-club guys\friends of mine laughed at me when I got my SS\TC, Then a week later I raced my 100% stock TC against three of those friends and their light bolt-on GTOs all 2006 models, one auto and two 6-spd's, 364whp to 395 whp, and beat them all by at most a full car and at the least, three feet, on a 1\4 track .
You'd not believe how that changed their out look in terms of NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT"S COVER.
In terms of running from 60 to 135, I'm ahead till about 105, then the tables turn and absolute hp takes over and they all start the slow walk on me. That was when I was stock. Fun stuff...... But yeah I know way to many GTO owners that I don't even hang with because they think they own the road, LoL.

I definately not a Cobalt TC or SC hater. I used to own one, but come on.
I can see a new SS/TC hangin around or beating a stock GTO on a roll
but other than that you are racing guys who can't drive.

I think you need to remind yourself of the above 1/4 Mile times as well.
SK360s car is a simple bolt on car that runs low 12's with ease.
Stock heads, Stock Cam, Stock Converter, Stock LS2 Intake, Stock Gears, Ect.......

The only thing holding him back is the converter and cam, the heads are 243 catsing no? The intake is a 90mm inlet, the gears im not to sure on i thought they were 3.55. The ls2 gto was a well put together car not saying gains will not be had from all those mods its already on a pretty decent platform.

GTO has 3.42s from the factory.
The LS2 intake has a 90mm opening but flows like crap.
The FAST is about the only thing available that is a worthy replacement.

so you are telling me you beat cars that should be low 13 sec if not high 12 sec cars with a car that does 13.9? hmm not to mention it was at a trac where no doubt they are hitting at least .1-.3 better 60' than you... they must really blow at driving for you to pull that off
