BTW,

My car burns no oil.

I just took off my intake to swap the FAST. With a Catch Can there wasn't anything in the intake.

Now, since you obviously have comprehension issues, let me reiterate that we're talking about large amounts, not these few so called ounces you speak of

When you have the 3rd testiment (gto manual) you know everything about god's engine. I highly suggest you pick one up.

Back on topic: IMO, I think they lock because
A.)GTO owners get pissed at anyone who makes a thread that entitles the words "cobalt ss/sc", "Vs" "GTO", and all the GTO owners come rushing in to jump conclusions and immediate defense.

-or-

B.) Some Cobalt owners claim dumb victories over them.

That's how I see it, and it's childish how people react towards it. Just some people just need to clearly grow up. PERIOD

Cobalt owners may claim dumb victories, but as we all should know by now: Not all cobalts beat GTO's, and not all GTO's beat cobalts.

I thought my GT was going to get my butt handed to me by a 6.0L M6 GTO at the track and I ended up beating him by 0.2secs 7 times in a row. And he had a lot of track experience and a Pedders track pack on there. I was not using nitrous.

Wow.

You shouldn't have to pay for the Z51 pakage either.

It's a Vette............

Please don't try to impress me with a LS2, C6, Z51.

I drive one on a weekly basis. If I were you I wouldn't invest any money in a LS2 C6.

Thier market value took quite a hit after the LS3 came out. Better get out while you can.

You drive a bastard child called a GTO and you are telling someone with a C6 that there car took a hit and get out while they can now that is some funny ****. Not only did the 2008 LS3 have zero effect on 2007 LS2 prices but you are driving a car that in a few more years GM will say GTO what GTO?

And if you knew what Z51 came with you would realize how dumb your statement was. I paid an extra $1700 for Z51 specific shocks, springs, brakes, GY Supercar tires, a cooler for everything and a unique gear ratio T-56.

You paid $2000 for some aftermarket parts to replace factory parts that never should have been used in the first place.

I belive you are the only one with problems reading things because I never said they burned alot of oil. Funny that you think they don't all burn some oil though, then agian maybe people are running gear oil. I am am sure GM only sent out a notice of oil consumption during aggressive driving to waste some left over bulk rate postage also.

Down boys......we obviously have a "my ***** is bigger" vette owner on our hands

Once again "guy".....ALL MOTORS consume some oil.......it's normal.....what I was trying to get at is it's not an issue until it's large amounts. You're making it sound like GTO's are the only cars that consume in your own words "a few ounces".

But I'll leave it at that instead of going back and forth and oh yes, my ***** is BIGGER

I have no clue what the Z51 pakage includes and I completely clueless about Corvettes.

I think you are talking to the wrong person again.

This coming from a guy that used to own a GTO and talk all the time about how it was sooo great. (Kind of like he does his Corvette.)

look its a fact, if you see how moses parted the seas, it was because the vortex of the GTO's speed when god sped across it like a skipping stone gave them enough time to go through. I have screen shots!

SEE? IT MUST BE TRUE!!!!!!!!

3rd testament i tore off and scanned for you!!!!!!!

When I had my GTO in 2006 the suspension was the first thing I looked into. There are only three manufactures that make a GTO chassis based application. Monroe, some Euro aftermarket company and Bilstein. The Bilstein units are cartridge replacements and are hard to get your hands on. As for Monroe they are the OEM supplier for GM and are the only one you will find available when it comes to OE style replacements. They make only one version also and that is the SensATrac.

I am very picky about what goes on my car so I did some digging. I was told by a Pedders dealer and a few other sources that Monroe supplied Pedders shocks. It's kind of like the after market springs that are available. Pretty much all of them are made by one of two companies.

I think you are talking to the wrong person again.

1- You compared spending $2000 on Pedders crap to me spending $1700 on the Z51 package like it was one in the same. The Pedders crap makes a absolutly terrible suspension a little better. The Z51 takes an already great suspension and makes it awesome not to mention the other goodies.

2- You think beause daddy or someone else has a C6 that you know a damn thing.

3- You drive a GTO and bash on a C6's value. By the way there are two people that buy Vettes. Older guys in a mid life crisis and people like me who want the GM flagship performer. Sad thing is people like me is maybe 30% of sales and the old guys could care less which engine is under the hood.

So obviously I am not speaking to the wrong person.

And this coming from a fool that posts the same pictures time after time of his dads GT500 saying it's his own.

And my GTO was great but my C6 is just that much better so whats your point? The GTO with the exception of the suspension is a nice LS2 powered vehicle. Unfortunatly when you do the math a C6 will always do more with less power and needs no suspension tweaks so............

HAHA do you think if you keep posting that it will come true? Once again why the hell would I lie about it being mine? I don't talk about hardley at all and I have a GT thats much much faster.

Are you that jealous?
