LS2guy, I like your Vette, the white is nice, just like I liked your GTO... but honestly, how many times have you been booted from this site? Why do you come back? Quit wasting your time! Stay on the Vette forums... hell, go pick fights on the GTO forums or on Viper Alley or something. Leave the slow cars alone.
Sorry I am done being an *******, well unless 04YellowGT has more to say.
As for being here this place is much more fun that other places and I will have a SS/TC added to my collection soon. Hell I am even thinking about selling the C6 and making the SS/TC my weekend car. Way too many people always expect a Corvette to win so when I do it's expected. It was much more fun when I was whooping ass in my SS/SC.
Once again sorry for being a stick in the mud.

I do agree that GTO's have a lot of potential, BUT do have some limitations compared to others. I will have to disagree about the GTO being by far the best performance car for the money.. You can pick up a 98-2001 Camaro or T/A WS6 for damn cheap and they run LOW 13's to really high 12's bone stock and have massive potential.

The vette is a sports car, will outperform the GTO stock for stock in everything.
If I had a garage and wanted a car to sit in it for only nice days, no question it would have been a vette.
I wanted a year round daily driver that could go play hard on the track on the weekend and sometimes on the streets.

This is what ford people fail to realize.
You make 510 on a 100 or 150 shot. You could make 510 ALL MOTOR with an LS2 GTO. 100 Shot, Sure then you will be making 600+WHP 650+WTQ.
Im not saying all Fords are slow, Im just saying there motors are WAY inferior.

Before my GTO I had two different LS1's a 2000 SS M6 and 2002 SS A4 both of which equalled what I did with my GTO. The GTO could always get an extra 1-2mph vs my A4 due to the raw HP advantage overcoming the added weight in the last 1/8. My 2000 was SLP optioned and bested my GTO in every way.
I didn't trade my GTO for my C6 for the ego factor but because 400hp does alot more in 3200lbs than 3800lbs. There were way too many times when you could tell the GTO was a heavy car be it mid corner or 120mph.
