With all this talk of new cars coming out has anyone seen what intrest rates are like on new cars?

GMAC is having trouble besting 13.25% and is turning away even 700 credit scores.

My GT has a 175 shot on it, and all the boltons. Only thing I can really do from here is get cams, or go turbo. I don't think I want to buy a turbo though since the power will be the same as my blue switch.

Because dealers haven't been paying back GMAC for the cars on their lot after they are sold. It's really killed them. The dealers have had to use the money to keep their doors open.

But still any way you slice it GMAC not being able to best 13.25% sucks. Since they were a GM tied companie they had all the sweet intrest rates. My C6 is at 1.9% and my Silverado is at .95% no bank can come close to that.

Nope, stock internals. If I built it I would have a 5.0L stroker then I'd be even more powerful by about an extra 100hp, but the tranny would explode on that.

Tell me about it. With a ~700 Credit score... I got offered 25% interest on the GTO I was looking at...


"...25%? Are you serious? CREDIT CARDS offer better interest than that."

And I walked out. Hopefully, come spring time, it'll be a different story.
