That right there concerns me.

Find out why there was two owners with only 44k. Could've been one got bored and the other one couldn't afford it.

Or it crapped out on both of them.

Just look out for strut rub or struts leaking. Also you might want to ask psychosteve he sold his 04 GTO due to suspension/tire related problems.

From a roll I have you, but I would need to be able to drive really well and have tire to pull you from a dig, definitely possible though.

Well when it comes down to it unless people start using glue every mod is pretty much a bolt-on.

I had MASSIVE strut failure. Wore the inside of the tires out in 7,000 miles. Outside tread looked new, inside tread was to the bone.

There are SO many things to look for when buying them. First thing I recommned: A full coverage Extended Warranty. Would have saved my hide.

My baseline was 255rwhp, so that's how I calculated powertrain loss. Still 560rwtq is crazy.

........... well, usually a CAI, or exhaust are bolt ons. Did you have to do any work to the kit prior to installing?

He is correct though.

Turbo/SC swap fall under major upgrades. People use bolts ons towards simple upgrades.

Its kind of like saying I did an engine swap as a bolt on....... Sure it bolts right up, but its completely different now.

If I don't remove my head or drop my oil pan....it's a bolt on. And I tell people it's bolt on when they attempt to bench race my car

Well I made the setup myself originally (built and tuned by me), then added some upgraded parts. But oil pan was never off the car, neither was the valve cover.... but yeah it is a "major" upgrade, but still bolt-ons, as in I can take it off and put the s/c setup back on and no one would know, but why would I ever do that.

not really since I still have the original 42k mile stock motor untouched since it was bought new.
But yeah I hear ya, that's like dropping an LS1 in an RX-7, sure everything is bolt in, but hell that's major work,.
