That overall quantity is the reason the aftermarket beyond the powertrain is minimal. The fact that GM has little to no stock of GTO parts will make finding them in the future a bitch too.

GTO's by no means are a rare car except for the fact that they were only made for 3 years limiting overall quantity which is not the same as rare.
That overall quantity is the reason the aftermarket beyond the powertrain is minimal. The fact that GM has little to no stock of GTO parts will make finding them in the future a bitch too.

The LSJ has been around since 04. Its really not that rare, at all. The ion RL and SS/SC and pontiac G5 GT are identical minus the brand and looks. Same engine, same tranny, same suspension, same features, etc.

The GTO shares nothing with any other GM car in the states except for a few wear items and engine and transmission. That is why there are problems getting parts be it OE or aftermarket.
The Cobalt and G5 are more similar than the Ion but they share enough that parts are easy to come by.

lsj is more rare than the lnf.
3 years of producing lsj engines in 2 brands of car... RL and SC
lnf......
camaro, cobalt, solstice, sky, etc etc
lsj will be the bastard child engine.
