If I remember right you were talking about trapping 119mph which is no where near enough to make me look like a high 13's second Cobalt. As a matter of fact the only place you would beta me in in the 1/4 because after that it would be good bye tug boat.
I can understand why you are upset though because you hadd to do all that modding to make your beach cruiser quick and I would just need to half ass a 75 shot to whoop your ass.
Go replace your strut mounts you goat sucking idiot.

It's like he's bitter because his GTO raped and/or abused him while he owned it, now he's out to get all current GTO owners back.

I wanted a white Z51, M6 1LT so thats what I bought had I wanted a Z06 thats what I would have got. But I felt that the extra $25,000 could be better spent so I bought a 2007 Silverado too.
So whats your excuse?

1) Your modded car ran a 12.5 which is what a C6 runs stock so please show me where anyone with common sense would be bitter?
2) Actually I talk **** to folks like you because I have seen first hand what a POS the GTO is. It was no faster than my 305whp LS1 F-Bodies and handled much, much worse also. And then there is the weight factor that is obvious in turns and acceleration I won't even mention braking stability. Then there was the C6 that put a bus on me in the 1/4 and a footbal field past 110mph.
So basically they are not gods much less his daily beater, they are just a poor chassis with a great powertrian. I could afford to buy something better so I did just like the other 20+ times I traded up L03 to LB9 to L98 to LT1 to LS1 to LS2 and GTO to C6.
On a serious note how when replacing all that stuff not think what a joke? The GTO uses coils and shocks used on family sedans in austraila and europe even the V6 Monaro uses firmer spring rates and shock settings. It was said that people in the US would find the ride to harsh if coupe springs were used.
Factor in the life of shock mounts and radius rod bushings and that is why I will gladly bash the GTO suspension.

Strut Mounts - $70
Radius Rod Bushings - $210
All this talking trash over $300 in parts. Come on. Big Deal.
The GTO is a touring car. It isn't a F-Body and it isn't a Corvette. It never was supposed to be used as one. It is a nice compromise of both. That is why I bought it. If I wanted a C6 I would have bought one and modded it too.

But that isn't the only parts that are junk once you figure in shocks and springs you are well over $300.
And sure it was labeled a touring car so a touring suspension is to be expected. But it isn't soft due to touring status it's because the components are junk. There is a big difference between replacing a soft ride suspension with a performance one and replacing parts that were just plain low quality.
If a GTO traps 119mph it will be passed up by a C6 well before 170mph.
You can quit trying to be king **** and just realize a GTO can go fast but a C6 was built for it which makes a difference.

Trust me does. Hell he talks **** about my GT which would abslutly destroy him. All he ever says is, "If I add X, X, and X to my C6 it would beat you."

Excudse me but does it take more than common sense to call parts that are of poor quality ****? I would like to know how calling the suspension parts of a GTO what they are somehow instates that I am the king ****.
If it is about me saying I will catch a 119mph traping GTO in my C6 right after the 1/4 that is fact so deal with it. The C6 is much more aerodynamic and pulls much harder in the triple digits than a stock or GTO traping 119mph.
HAHA execues excuses. I was hlaf owner at the time. A week ago you said I didn't own it at all and once again I proved you wrong.
Trust me does. Hell he talks **** about my GT which would abslutly destroy him. All he ever says is, "If I add X, X, and X to my C6 it would beat you."

Like I said once a liar always a liar, back then you said it was yours alone there was no magic stories of joint ownership or other bullcrap. No matter what the case there is more to the story than you will ever tell.
Sad thing is kid I haven't modded my C6 because it doesn't even have 3,000 miles on the clock yet. It is a much different situation than buying a dime a dozen 2004 Mustang and thowing mods at it.
And it wasn't a "if I" situation it was simple facts that your GT was almost two seconds slower in the 1/4 stock than a C6 so I wouldn't need every mod in the book to catch you.
You are no god among mortals for having a 10 second GT anyone else could do the same as you did. And if they used a LSx be it a F-Body or C6 it would cost much less to do so.

Drag coefficient of the GTO is .30 and the c6 is .28 sorry but .02 difference isn't going to make a 113mph car reel in any 119mph cars. You wouldn't even beat my 114.9mph trapping GTO.

Its going GREAT! Lots of V8's on here trolling against each other.
GTO guys dont want to accept that the c-vette is a faster car, and was designed as such. I mean, the corvette isnt GM's sport's car or anything.......
kind of like Dodge has the Viper.....
and Ford has the GT.....
