Yet Another SS/SC VS SRT4

So I am driving to work today and I see a Silver SRT4 looked pretty clean and stock. I would guess 05 but I am not too sure. We got together at a light, he was on one end and I was on the other. When it turned green I rolled in to first and then quickly into second. I didn't want to seem like a typical Ricer AssHat when he sees an SRT4, so I wasn't trying to call him out or do anything stupid like lighting the tires...

Anyway, at the same time as the light turned green he jumped it and took off which is why I say I went quickly into second to catch up. But that ended quickly due to another light.

So we got to another traffic light and this time when it turned green I was going. It turned green and I feathered the clutch out at about 2k and hooked pretty well. I hear his BOV as we both hit second. He honestly stayed in my blind spot (his nose was at my bumper) the whole time until we hit traffic... max'ed out around 70 mph.

When we got to some more open lanes he opened it up around 60-70 and I followed with a drop to third and I was struggling to keep up. He was def putting some distance between us... not super quick but clearly he had more power at higher speeds.

It was fun... I wish I could meet that kid once a week or something driving to work it would make commuting much more fun lol...

Good run. I ran one stock for stock. We ran two times. Both times he was a full car length ahead. I then raced him (same person, he's my friend) when I put my magnaflow exhaust on and I was inching on him. He also had another person in the car while I had just myself though.

this wasn't by any chance near middlesex county...like on the parkway or something, was it? cuz i definately ran into a silver SRT-4 this morning that gave me a friendly and a couple 40mph rolls in mild traffic at like 6:30 this morning. he had exhaust and some black decal stripe thing on the sides right under the glass. it definately was a fun ride to work this morning.

my friend has an 05 ACR SRT4 and let me tell ya, i cant do anything to keep up with him. His smaller 16in wheels make for even better acceleration. I can only and i mean only get ahead of him while im in first gear, other than that he completely puts my ss/sc to shame. i just cant wait to get the stage 2 on mine and not tell him, he will be in for a surprise!!! SRT4's are some wickedly awesome cars.

I raced an srt a while back from a dig. i had him all the way to 75mph, then he crept past me, their "magical third gear"..I was still impressed I stayed ahead of him for that long.
