You're never gonna believe this!!!!
Ok before I say anything about the car I beat here's all the facts he was stock accept for
an exhaust and he was automatic so he starts off low rev. we raced 6 times yeah 6
The first I won from (3rd gear)80-100 by 1 car length
Second I won from(3rd gear) 75-105 1/2car
Third he won from (3rd gear) 60-100 1/2 car
we chat I ask if it was auto and he says "yeah, it's STOCK" I ask if it's Turbo and he shows me two fingers and says "twin" then I said lets go again from 70 he points forward!
Fourth I won from (3rd gear) 70-110 3/4 car
we chat again he asks "what do you have done to it?" and I said STOCK I dont think he believed me though. Then I said from 50 and he nods.
Fifth he won from (3rd gear) 55-90 3/4 car
we slowed down again and I gave him a thumbs up he did the same and we went from 40 3 honks
Sixth Beep Beep Beep from (2nd gear) 40-115 I jumped ahead his front bumper at my rear all through second, and all through third he was at the back of my rear tire. I shift into fourth and by 110 I see his car coming up on me faster and faster, I said "god damn his turbo must have spooled or something" because he was pulling hard. Passing 110 my front bumper was at his door, and by 115 I was at his rear tire I stopped by 118 because of traffic in my lane. WOW that thing pulled pretty good once it got going but anything before that I hung right with him or if I started above 3900 RPM's I would beat him but only to 110 then he starts to pull. So to all the SRT-4's and Cobalts SS I encourage you to race one if it's auto because you'll beat him if you end the race before 100 mph. Anyway, I bet you're dying
to know what car I raced?!!!
Curb Weight: 3,568 lb (1,620 kg)
Transmission: 6-Speed Manual or 4-speed automatic
Type: Twin-Turbo Inline-6
Displacement: 2997 cc
Horsepower: 326 bhp @ 5,600 rpm
Torque: 325 lb-ft @ 4,600-5,000 rpm
Redline: 6,800 rpm
Still don't know Cause I didn't believe it either!
0-60 mph: 4.9 sec (manual I think)
0-100 mph: 11.8 sec (manual I think)
Quarter Mile: 13.6 sec @ 106 mph
It was Clean and it had the Wing it was a 98 Toyota Supra (auto)
So here's my question how the F#$%K did I beat this thing? and be gentle I'm not a liar.

2 things, first he's got an automatic which is gonna slow him down a little bit. and from what i know stock supra powerbands suck. yeah they got over 300 horse, but the turbos don't spool till high rpms. someone can correct me if i'm wrong, thats cool. also his car weighs alot more. i'm not going to doubt this one, it's very possible. there are no stock supras in my area so i can't test this lol..

those cars dont get moving till around 60mph... they are dangerous at high speeds, but you probably had a large advantage solely on the fact that he was an auto... good races!!

I believe you i used to run a stock auto targa all the time and whoop him w/boost mod intake and header!
He had a 180Lb. passanger i was flying solo. Very believe able, esp- froma roll.

thats awsome always been a fan of supras. ive been back and forth about buying one theres a 94 supra TT for $7,000 + 1,200 for shipping. i have a few problems though
1) its a supra you know who ever owned it beat the hell outa it
2) its right hand drive which is cool but would suck as daily driver
3) $8,200 for a 12 year old car...
4) it would be imported from japan and leagalizing it and stuff gets expensive and would be a pain

I don't know if he had boost issues but the only time it started to pull was at 105+MPH anything lower I would jump because he was auto, and pull alittle bit the first part of third, then he would stay with me until 105 when that thing pulled harder that ****. He looked alittle mad when I beat him all those other times and didn't think I was stock!!
