Post up when you get them on, I've been looking at a set of 17's for my winter rims.

When I was ordering from Discount Tire, their site only showed 17" as the option...I called and they didn't know why but made an order for 18" at my request...if they had 17" listed for the TC, then it should fit...but I'd ask them to be sure...

BTW, why do you want 17"?

Meatier tires, I'm guessing. What kind of tires are you running your 18 inch drags?

They worked great for snow and had great traction as long as the white stuff isn't deeper than my clearance lol...but don't expect knife edge handling...like all ultra soft compound winter treads, they are very squirmy and quick lane changes are best avoided...I pumped up mine to 42psi to aleviate this mushy feeling...as soon as the season temp gets above 45F, switch to summer tires right away...they wear quickly in warm weather...

I was on a website tonight lookin at rims that say they fit but will need to call the place just to double check but i did a lil research and and the bolt pattern is 5x112 not 5x110 is that too much of a difference so it wont fit or will it fit?

Just another confirmation but my ss/na wheels do clear the brembos with no spacers but they are tight.

Any help on this one would be appreciated. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of powder coated 17" wheels from a Pontiac G6 GT.

My plan is to use these for winter tires, will these wheels clear the Brembo's? Does anyone have any experience trying this?

Any help would be great, thank you.

Nevermind guys, I got my hands on a used set of 2007 SS/NA cobalt rims. They are in ok shape and were only $400 Canadian.

(parts cost a ridiculously large amount more in Canada than the USA)

lol...almost old enough to be your grandad...I'm not saying that the steel hood would fold open at speed but my experience has told me otherwise...especially if your hood latch popped for some reason at 160...there's only one hook to keep it from flying into my face...so the hood pins are there for my piece of mind...
