This is kinda of topic but I think there is a very limited variety of rims that look good on this car. With the earlier thread I've seen with people posting their after market rims I've only been impressed with like 7 cars out of 50. Im gonna dick around with the photoshop to find out for sure which rims look the best, least ricey and clean for the SS. I am a big fan of JDM/USDM so thats the way I like my cars. Some people like the hideous chrome rims, thats fine. My taste is clean though. Ill keep ya guys posted.

These rims will not clear the brembo caliper... I test fit a set last year when a bro of mine was selling his.

Maybe with spacers you could clear it but IMO if I cant just bolt them up I'm not interested

I can tell those would never clear...I've tested a few wheels and found that ones with spokes that curve in at the top near that NEVER EVER fit. Some are not even close! They can curve some at the very edge near the lip, but if they clear anywhere near the center of the spoke, you're screwed. The spokes on those also look very thick.

got my ENKEI AKP's put on they fit but man are they close. it looks like the rim is almost touching the brembo on the driver side. i couldnt even get my finger behind it to feel a gap. I might put a smal spacer on those just to make sure they dont rub. I will take pics when it stops raining. And i go for looks not performance HHRSsouth. i'm nto trying to race my car i got 2 kids that ride with me and this is our only dependable for of transportation so i'm not looking to race it except when someone pulls up next to me in a POS thinking they are gonna beat me then my 7 yr old dares me to race them.

I've been trying to get a new how-to on fixing oil leaks approved for almost 2 weeks now. It appears nobody is at the wheel on this site, no joke.

...I know which one you're talking about, it should also be stickied; try putting it in the lounge, someone might get the drift . Free bump for this one because it needs it!

Some wheels I've noted to fit 17", and I'd assume they'd also fit the 18", but I'm sure there's some exceptions.

I will not list wheels that fit with a spacer above 3-5mm...you can fit a lot of wheels on this car with spacers, but the point of this thread is to find wheels that fit without.
