copper plated wheels?

so im thinking of getting my rims copper plated any input on this all black balt copper wheels.......

id imagine they could be powdercoated clear over the copper plating to avoid this

I say do it I think they make sealers for copper stuff... And if not I heard coke does wonders for cleaning copper...

It's still softer than chrome. It would look cool, but it would be upkeep. I like the look of nickel plating, it looks richer than chrome.

After casting the wheel the wheel is now drilled for the bolt pattern the wheel is to be used on. Using what is called a CNC Machine, manufacturers can drill they very accurately. As seen bellow this wheel has 8 holes. This wheel is designed for a 4-Lug vehicle but they have drilled it to fit 2 different bolt patterns. Example: 4x100 and 4x114.3. This way the wheel can fit a broader range of applications.

^^^ haha i was thinking the same thing.
thoes wheels look sick i had some questions but after seeing thoes copper ones i am setting up an apt to get them dipped next week
i wish i could get some turbo wheels but i will dip mine and see how it comes out.

Just powder coating them copper would get the same result without wasting $$$ on chrome first.

********^^^^^, whatever color you powdercoat chrome come out thar color but shiney like chrome, plus no upkeep because its powdercoated, so f@~k both of u
