because you said that was the dumbest **** ever. Unless u powdercoat chrome its not going to come out looking shiney like chrome. So if you chrome the rims first, then powdercoat it a copper color, its going to come out looking like a shiney new penny, with 0 upkeep because its powdercoated, how is that the dumbest **** ever????

After casting the wheel the wheel is now drilled for the bolt pattern the wheel is to be used on. Using what is called a CNC Machine, manufacturers can drill they very accurately. As seen bellow this wheel has 8 holes. This wheel is designed for a 4-Lug vehicle but they have drilled it to fit 2 different bolt patterns. Example: 4x100 and 4x114.3. This way the wheel can fit a broader range of applications.

2. EVERYTHING that is chromed first gets copper plated. Are you just dumb? Go be a big kid and google the chroming process. What a retarded thing to say.
OP, you have 3 legitimate options to accomplish this look.
1. Copper plating and lots of elbow grease. Just polish them all the time. Guys with polished magnesium wheels do, and that stuff corrodes even faster than copper tarnishes.
2.Clear coating with paint.
3. Powder coating with clear.
It can obviously be done, I took these pictures at WekFest this year:
