jus saw those new enkies in the new issue of modified mag, they are ok but still no rfp10

redline4 11-04-2009 07:46 AM

Not feeling them...sorry. If they could be a lower offset than 40 then maybe something to look at. And by them being the racing series your going to pay at least 425 or more per rim. Before I would buy these I would buy the Ultras or the HLT from OZ

I don't think they will be that much...they are replacing the RPF1's and I think those are only about $285 each (in a comparable size). That beats the $348 for the Ultralegerras...and they will likely be lighter than the OZ's.

if they have them in the 250 - below range then maybe it could be a consideration.

Does anyone know if they are going to have different colors other than silver? I hope they end up having the dark bronzes like the rpf1's.

Rage915 11-04-2009 12:46 PM

they arent replacing the rpf1 jus yet, they just released rpf1 in black as well, so now its silver, polished, gold and black that are available

redline4 11-04-2009 02:00 PM

Yea, im just curious to see what the pf1 is going to be in colors. if that have the gold or black im sold.

mkriebs 11-04-2009 02:13 PM

I want them in bright fucking orange.

Really, I do.

redline4 11-04-2009 02:32 PM

How about white? haha.

mkriebs 11-04-2009 02:34 PM

Nah, too much brake dust, lol. these would be race only wheels, and I think my black balt with bright orange wheels would be sexy.

redline4 11-04-2009 04:33 PM

Hate to tell you but brake dust will show up just as much on those bright orange wheels than those white wheels.

Kildore 11-04-2009 05:16 PM

Brake dust is always there.. specially with these soft compound pads.

mkriebs 11-05-2009 01:00 AM

Yeah, I know, I was just kidding.

$550 per wheel? dannnnnnnnnn, unless i have like a 300zx, supra or something. can't see myself getting those 3 piece wheels for a cobalt.

thats cheap they where $625-ish a wheel like a month ago..lol..... and i bet you cant find a 17x9 for a 5x110 bolt pattern cheaper or lighter or better

fakameanrepresent 11-05-2009 12:31 PM

i know, 3 piece wheels plus they are super freakin light. but still, i can't see myself spending that much on a COBALT. but good site, i will for sure to buy the classic line for my ae86 or 300zx.

redline4 11-05-2009 01:18 PM

550 a wheel I would just get a custom drilled set of wheels my choice.

slowbalt84 11-05-2009 10:36 PM

for $550 a wheel it better come with either:
a) a car attached or
b) a blowjob (and let me tell you it better be one hell of a blowjob

That is fairly cheap for a high end lightweight rim . Damn , the classics look good on that Ion .

The price is shit so I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to buy them when you get get the OZ Ultra.. for cheaper, with better offset and lighter weight.

mkriebs 11-08-2009 01:16 PM

I like that offset, its very aggressive.

I seen those wheels and I was stoked until I seen the price tag. Im preety much going to go with a replica Work Emotion CR KAI wheel with the 35 offset
