Need help with rim sizes please

I'm going to be lowering my cobalt 2 inches and I'm wondering if I can get away with a 17inch rim by 7 wide +38 offset with 205/50r tires without rubbing issues. Will this give the car a good stance?

I had 17" wheels +35offset with 205-50s on them on my base model and had no issues. It was lowered as well.
