need new tires. have you had these...

i HAVE to get new tires and i've come across two that aren't to badly priced..

what i'm asking is have you had these and how were they?? were they good in the snow?


Kuhmo ecsta ASX ultra high performance all season

and

Pirelli PZero nero m&s pinna.. also ultra high performance all season..

or

name a tire you liked.

had the pirelli p-zero neros...I hated them wore real quick, and didnt have **** for traction

I have these and they are 10x better than stock.
These have a higher tread rating that the stock tire.

well, its kinda hard to explain. but, the only reason that they are called "all-season" tires is because, yes they do work in all types of weather. but in order to allow that. its actual performance in each condition is very low quality...if that helps you out any...

like, in order for one condition to work, they have to take away some performance of another condition. so in the end, yes the tire will work in all conditions...but very poorly

alright that explains it.. never really cared with my truck and malibu...

ok so just stay away from all-seasons and go for the regular snows.. gotcha. now pirelli or kumho.

true.. but knowing my luck i will, idk it all depends on when i have the money to get them, i have regis. and license. to pay this month as well! sooooo if i can't get them till end feb- march i'll just get summers

i know this is bad but i had summers on all last winter and did Just fine.

just go ahead and get a summer tire

get some nitto NT05's. i was thinking about getting those, i couldn't decide between 01's or '05s but im going with 01's

We had pirelli's and they were the best and really good in wet weather...and believe it or not they were bald as **** too when we were in wet weather

Don't drive in the snow with them. It will end badly.

Seriously, I LOVE this tire. It's sooooo sticky. No idea on treadwear yet.

QFT. Save money and buy winters just before the first snow at the start of the next winter season.

yeah i know.. i got yelled at everyday by the boyfriend and dad.... lol but we didn't get a whole lot of snow and when we got hit last year on v-day i used my dad's truck to drive to work bc he was out plowing. and took the mini van. (he packs it with clothes, blankets, and a cooler incase he gets stuck at work)
