NEW Eagle F1 Tires!

225/40/18's Wicked size. Honestly I know 235's fit but they have to be pushin it just looking at how far the tires stick out from the rim. This size also solved my rubbing problem that I had since the intake and stock tires.

PS I have sportlines

Had them for 4 days now and they are not noisy. I notice no increase in tire noise over the pirellis. Now, BFG KDW's those are some LOUD ass tires.

How's the grip compared to the stock tires? Supposedly they're supposed to grab better.

Ill get back to you on that havent push them to the limits yet but just swerving side to side on the highway steering feel is tighter. Once I get back to kingston I'll do another run on the G-tech and I'll see how easily it hits 1g

I can't really say they grab better, in the corners at first they were dissappointing b/c i thought I was losing grip but in a 40 kph turn at 120 they started squeelling but never let go, they continue to grip but they just make alota noise.

My buddy has an srt4 and they come stock and everytime I he shows me a vid of his car I hear this noise so I ask him about it and he tells my his tires. On the highway doing some runs you can hear them in my car with the windows open and the noise gets really loud when at higher speeds. Just what I have run into. Maybe he had an odd set, who knows.

keep in mind tires have a break in period so you wont be able to tell full performance just yet

Wow those tires look great. I'm thinking about doing a wheel/tire package purchase, but recently on that wheelmax website the 05 cobalt shows 0 results for wheels

I have some of those, I got the 235's though. So far so good. I love mine and they handle and stick a whole lot better than the stock pirellis.
BTW no rubbing at all with 235's

AWESOME CHOICE....I have these tires in 235/40 and they are VERY VERY good tires. I will probably buy these tires again when it comes time to change them, for a second time lol.

I dont know much about the tire sizes and why one is better than the next, but i'm assuming 235/40/18 (if it fits) is the "best" size to get, on any tire, for the SS? (As long as you want 18")
