Performance Tires for stock rims?

I really love the BFGoodrich Street radials:

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...r=45&tc=MTAHZH

Is there anyother tires out there that you guys would recommend for better traction?!

BFGoodrich has these two options:
215/40/18 & 225/45/18

Would both work and which one would be better for handling and a better fit?

Believe it or not but I bought some offbrand tires from e-bay 245/40(i think)/18 that had some japanese name. It was like $110 shipped for both brand new lol. Anyway, they were frkn awesome tires, I hooked a lot better than the stockers and they looked great too.

I don't see why no one likes the Pirelli's that are on the car, if I have to change out my tires any time soon, I would just get a better pirelli tire, If it comes stock on a Lambo, it can't be to bad of a tire...

No one likes them because they don't grip for ****. It doesn't matter what they come on if they don't grip.

the best street tire for the money is definately the bfg kdw series. either the kdws or the kdw2s. The tires are really sticky and will give you the best bang for the buck. my friend with his svt has gone through 3 sets and each time used the same kdw2s. they are a great tire.
and eys they come stock on the srt4

they come on lambos because the name sounds exotic like the car. its an image thing. and depending on what your doing the KDW's are pretty bad. theyre more for wet traction. as you wear out the blocks on the side they grip better and times will get better. but if you want the best dry traction skip the W and just get the KD's. falken rt 615's or michelin pilot sport cup's also work.

You know BFGoodrich does make these in a 225/40 series as well. I would go with the 225/40 over the 225/45 IMO. I have the BFG G-force Sports right now and I love em. They are a little bit less expensive and have a better treadwear rating. They have the same traction and temperature ratings. You step down to a W rating which is the same as the OEM rated Pirellis. The KDWs in our size is a Y rated.

Yeah, but do the BFG's actually perform good in inclimate weather??? I get snow here... and I hate taking off wheels and tires at ever change in season! I want a good ALL AROUND PERFORMER! I was lookin' into the Falken Ziex 512s.... 235/40s!
