What size tires did you get on them? Are those wheels 8" wide or 8.5"?

8.5"x18" 5x110" is the rim size...hold on a sec and Ill get the tire size

tire size is 225 40 18

I like the width a lot..they stick out a little and look very aggressive from the back

Yeah, they look pretty BA! lol. I am trying to decide between 18"x8.5" or 19x8.5" Stern ST6's. I'm not sure if I would go with a 225 or 235 width tire though. I'm not a huge fan of the stretched tire look and I would want max lip protection if I get 19's, so I would probably get 235's.

Not much though. I had 235/40/18's on my 18"x8" ADR's and they bulged a bit.

He's definitely lowered. The question now is what is he lowered with? My guess is Sportlines.

The Enkei EKM3's look like bicycle wheels IMO. I didn't say that was necessarily a bad thing though! lol

225's on an 8.5 width wheel"? Dammnn, and I thought I was cutting it kinda close with a 225 on my 8" wide wheels.

That has to be somwhat unsafe I know they told me that a 235 on a 8.5'' rim was pushing it and most tire manufactures wouldnt warranty a tire that size on a rim that wide

Well, my 225's on my 8" wide wheel......my lip is barely exposed as it is and my wheels all have some war marks to show for it.

I mean I realize that Cobalts are no V-dubs......we don't put 195 tires on 10" wide wheels.....yet....

i'm not a huge fan of tire stretching. I like the tire to have a vertical sidewall.
