i got my clay bar coming up next weekend or the weekend after. its going to be a project. the car was sitting in a lot for 6 months before i bought it, and in the 3 years and 3 months i have owned it, it has never been clay bar'd

 

What's this "clay bar" you speak of? lol. I've never even seen one. Detailing is not my favorite thing to do!

 

haha i waxed my car last year once but my one year annivesary of my car is coming up next month so im gonna buy it a full detail to make it happy lol

haha nice i never owned a vw but leased a 02 gti when i worked there always wanted a vr6 corrado but there so ******* tiny lol my head hardly fit in there

 

The old school stuff is nice and fun. Put a VR6 in a MK2 GTI... you'll love it.

I think I have more fun in that car, than I do my 360whp Cobalt.

 

A Clay bar is what you buy/use when you really love detailing your car, or saving the paint, or making your car look brand new again.

Basically its a bar of clay that you rub on the surface of the car (lubricated with detailing mist usually, of course). Pulls all the impurities out of the paint (excess wax, dust, pollen, road debris), makes it smooth and sexy. After the clay bar you usually then want to polish and wax.

Sweet looking car man. Wheels are clean, should just lower it a tad bit more to get rid of that gap and you can consider yourself slammed. Man you are low already with the smaller tires and progress springs. Need to do the mudflap delete asap!

car looks really nice but that rusted ass muffler sticken out from the bottom just ruins the look of your car
