10's really?

They have already ran 10's. I believe it was a 10.7 in Ryans car on the 5 speed. This car now has a set up to go mid to low 9's when they crank it up.

yes the car previously ran a 10.7 on the 5 speed setup. this is the automatic trans with a 4500 stall on low boost. the track wouldn't hold anymore than 26psi iirc. the best part is it's consistency.

Making the rear suspension solid is much better then running typical suspension, but not as good as a wheelie bar. Even with solid suspension, there is weight behind the rear tires that works as leverage when the front tries to lift. With the wheelie bar out behind the car, the effective wheelbase is much longer and all of the weight is in front of the rear wheel. Unfortunately, the rear suspension can come into play and make things worse at this point. When running a wheelie bar, you want to set up the rear suspension as light as possible, basically taking it out of the equation. We have not done this on Ryan's car yet. When we do, it will run 1.4 sixty foots, no problem.
