I'm really hoping for it to be ready around May but I haven't heard anything in a month ZZP needs one to test their housing so that's what we're waiting on

I dont get what you people have over quick spool time.. Having a later spool allows your torque to come in later which given there are 3rd gears shitting the bed with just the 6758, having less trans-destroying and tire-scorching torque at sub-3500 RPM would be REALLY beneficial.. as long as your in your powerband, there's no such thing as "lag", that and like stated above, slower spool down low normally gives more power clearance up top... seems like a win-win there

Been thinking about going with the treadstone stg4 with gtx3582r. I know I can't push that turbo and it will be in nice efficiency range. Don't really think this will be out this yr

I guess they are waiting on the exhaust housing from borg warner is what they said to me in email.

I have money ready to blow on a ZFR, wanted to be cruising around at TX2K14 with a better turbo, so not sure if i should wait, it could take a long time to develop.

Anybody else have any news?

No they are waiting on the turbo itself then need to see if their current exhaust housing will work after being machined. I have been quoted a date but not by ZZP so I won't post it in here but if you want to know send me a PM.

A big wheel k04 is definitely not gonna hold you off for a while. It'll get old quick. My zfr after having my car back out for a month is starting to get sluggish and I'm getting use to it. Might need something bigger. Haha.

Yea I hear ya. I'm getting my meth pump next week so I'll get to finalize my tune so I'll enjoy it for a week or 2 before being bored again. I'm just happy it holds boost to redline now instead of dropping off like the stock K04 I like reving it out

A bigger zfr would be a killer to all. Trans, motors, opponents, and bigger liter egos.

It depends on how fast it spools. It's can't possibly hit peak torque as fast as the 6758 does

Anything is possible really. I see it being like 200-300 rpms slower if anything. Could probably get it spooled as soon as a 6758 depending on AR, EGTs, Airflow and what not, but that's all going to be determined once bolted up.

Ya same I was gonna guess 200-300 slower but it'll still be fast enough for a daily. Oh ya great numbers! Do you have springs but stock cams?

Thanks! Completely stock and untouched top and bottom. The 6758 is plenty enough for a daily. Just gotta have the right brains behind it really. Lol...
