7163 zfr

Opels, big fuel lobe, max safe rail pressure and maxed out injection start angle E-47 roughly 510-520whp maybe a touch more. E-85 with 14% more fuel demand 450whp or so safely. More than that will be very risky. Colodude's ZFR at 480 whp is maxed on E-47 stock injectors stock cams but he is at 6000ft so his dyno has a 23% correction factor.

terminatir2 plans are to be full bolt ons with the 7163 (pre ordered) on 93 looking to be 400-430 range and this turbo should be better on the trans am I correct? Am I in the right direction

[QUOTE=billythakid;7449649]Maybe a tad less shock on the trans as it will spool a little later and a little slower but torque still needs to be limited as it spools up. It should easily make 430whp on 93 at around 25psi.

[QUOTE=Terminator2;7449671]This turbo will be going on a brand new longblock with just simple bold ons what do you think I should invest into next

If the highest peak power number is the goal, run an aluminum flywheel, LSJ brakes, light-weight wheels, light tires such as slicks(but inflated to 30psi).
Our S2 cams provide solid gains over S1 with the ZFR turbos.

Paintballerr78 is running stock injectors with just ZZP S1 cams, tuned by ZZP on E85 and made 476whp on his 5557, and is now on the s259et making the same power. No fifth injector, just the cams for fueling. I understand it doesn't come on as soon so it can get away with a little more.
And anyone who thinks 350+whp is useless on a FWD car needs to watch my videos. My car with 550-600whp hooks up better than most of the 350whp LNF's out there it seems like. And I am not on slicks, just some R compound R888's and coilovers.

28% more fuel demand on E-85 vs pump gas would mean 10 ms or longer injection times at 2600psi on his car!!!!!!!!

I shutter to think of the injection times. Werts Little 6758 on 93 and 29psi IDC is over 31% up top at 0.88 lambda injection times are in the 6.8 MS range out around 7000 RPMs. Fuel rail pressure is 2600psi injection start angle maxed out. Car would likely not support E-47 at 29 psi even with cams unless Opel fuel injectors as well.

We are including a note with the 7163 turbos that we ship, but I just want to post it here so more of you know. We are running the high pressure wastegate canisters on the 7163. We include medium pressure canisters on the 6758. This means that the duty cycle chart in the ECM must be adjusted differently with this turbo. To start out, I subtract 25% from the entire chart and set the max duty cycle to 75%. Be careful, because you can find yourself hitting 30psi boost in a hurry if you run a 6758 tune file with the 7163.
