Advised on the first upgrade mod!!

I have a couple questions if someone can help me out I really would appreciate it.

How much horsepower do y'all think that I will get when I install a 2.7 pulley with 80# pound injectors with a smaller belt and a Sports performance radiator. Also a header/down pipe with srs type-r1 catback exhaust system. However I've been doing my research about running a 2.7 pulley with a smaller belt that you have to have secondary reservoir and a dual pass.

Dual pass is a highly recommended mod.

Really need more information to gauge what you would put down. Typical stage 3 cars put down 250-260 on pump. Are you on E85 or pump gas? You won't need 80's on pump. You would get a better idle out of 60's. Are you getting a custom tune or canned tune? Also what is done to your car currently.

I currently have just a normal set up on the car for a 2006 Chevy cobalt SS supercharge 2.0 L Engine. For gas I'm using premium and for the tuning once I find a decent spot in Maryland I'm going to it.

I don't know of anywhere in maryland, but SMG Motoring is in Mass. Since your car is stock have you read the LSJ modification guide? It is a sticky in the 2.0 LSJ performance section.

260 or so whp if your car runs well, is tuned well and you can keep your intake temps down. Definately add a dual pass and option b to your setup. Really these cars should have those mods on the stock pulley.

And no intake? Look into the 'stock airbox mod'.

No one can really say what you are going to make....

Go check out the official dyno thread on here, and get an idea.

Efficiency is key.

Exhaust mods help a lot too. Like staged said efficiency is key with these cars.

I would recommend grabbing a tuner from this forum though, they can remote tune you if you have the cable needed. Most don't recommend going to a shop for a tune UNLESS they are familiar with LSJ/LNF.
