Yeah, they were a BITCH to get off. Can't really get an impact up there either. I just used the old 2 wrench technique to give me some more leverage. I would suggest some penetrating oil on them before you start. And do the top one first, should help keep the downpipe from sagging and help take the top one off, it is the hardest.
Oh also wear gloves! I slipped yesterday when I was pushing up on the wrench and cut myself pretty good.

hey so when installing it... if we have a lift can we just get under the car and unbolt it and everything or do we have to pull the engine to get to the header? How hard is it?

rofl. didn't have any, didn't think I needed them what with the lift and all lol. and I'm definately gonna puss out with the snow thing. lol. Already sick from putting in my projectors and doing the engine wire looms in the 30 degree weather
it's not that hard. there is a how to on how to remove the header if you look it up (it's for the gmpp one but it's the same process) that pretty much explains everything.

Why would you not look into how to do something before buying it just in case it is something that you are not capable of doing. Research FTMFW!!!!!

it's not hard, just may be a little tedious considering the header is 10 bolts, and the dp is 5. but i had my little brother who's 12 "help" me take off the downpipe when i swapped gaskets, and once the car was up the downpipe took literally 5-10 minutes. if you have a really big wrench it should be a piece of cake. if you have a dinky little **** wrench, be prepared for some fun
should have seen me the first time i swapped my downpipe, i had the 2.2 with sai and tried to get it from the engine bay. took about 3 hours to get the damn thing off, trying to struggle to get leverage with a 1/4" drive ratchet which was all i could fit. 1/2" drive from the bottom, and they come right off.
