only zzp part on my car

before

autometer vs zzp

after

build quality is peachy. better than the autometer honestly. fitment needs a bit of tweaking. the bolt point could be shortened about 1/4 inch or so. or maybe it was my headliner being pushed in by the aum piece. dunno. little tweaking here and there it fits fine. had to cut out the bottom piece behind the pod to get the boost gauge to fit.

i know you guys wouldn't have sold me the piece anyways, so i had someone else get it for me

nothing is ever perfect, but it's damn close!

p.s. yes i know my windshield is cracked

For you Area and everyone else who thinks they have an issue with ZZP, allow me to enlighten you.

1. No matter what happens on the boards, ZZP maintains a professional business. We don't change, modify or deal with our orders in any different fashion for anyone.

2. We don't know who you are area. Don't know your real name and the people such as Matt or myself posting do not work in ordering or shipping. We don't see what orders are coming or going. Pam, Henry, and Steve in shipping have no idea who customers are or what's going on in forums. They just print and ship orders all day long.

Thanks for buying the pillar, appreaciate the business and we're glad you like it.

I'm supervised it took you this long to get one...

I've had one since ZZP first released them... and since then I've had numerous people ask if the car came stock that way.
Probably one of the best triple pillars I've ever seen.

i never really needed a triple until i started running 8k. weird seeing the tach hit it now after two years of not seeing it go above 7k.

::shrugs::

still getting used to the afr being at the top and the angle of the gauges bothers me, but i'll get used to it

yeah, car's pretty much done just needs paint.
Can't really drive it much though as it attracts way too much attention where I live. Plus I like the cobalt lol.

That was my initial complaint as well... the angle of the gauges is different from the Autometer.... however, after running it for a while, I actually prefer it.

As much as many people have said (including me) that they hate their cobalt, they also go back to it or buy another one

lol I don't hate it, just ran out of funds to continue the project. but figure I can sell the rx, get my self back on level financial ground, and then continue pushing the limits of the cobalt again. plus rx only gets 12-13 mpg highway so I can't be daily driving that on my 150 mile communte

Same. If ZZP would make a dual pod version, I would definitely replace my existing pillar with the ZZP one. I'm a bit OCD and not having the screw cover on the drivers side bothers me everytime I look at it.
