Breather isn't needed since there is a cap. Definitely makes getting the air out of the system a lot easier.

Meh, that's debatable....

I'll stick with my current setup, but this is def a nice option for people who have yet to install a HE, and are looking to spend less than a Griffin.

Nice job ZZP!!

so a option b wouldn't work with this setup or would you have to just cap the breather hose? that sucks if it doesn't work with it.

My CX racing HE will be coming off soon. Not quite the price I'd like but it's a better alternative than the griffin.

I'm putting in my ZZP spacer today, couple it with the new HE I'll be set for cooling.

So i dont get it would this do as good or better job than the stock h/e and s3 h/e combo? looks like you might have room to still fit the s3 behind it. looks humongus!!

the s3 h/e would go in the front of the car its mounted behind the crash bar, this will replace ur stock h/e and im not sure of any testing info released yet but this was meant to be as good if not better then the griffin and everyone talks about the griffin likes its the best thing since slice bread and its like 600+ so im get this once I see some data or someone buys it first lol.

Just like with the Griffin, you shouldnt need to run a front mount with this HE.

We can add an option b port to the top if you need that, no charge. just put a note in the comment line.

It's ~$200 less than griffin and holds 70% more fluid and mounts better. I can't really see any comparison.

Do u need an opt b for this to bleed effectively? Or does it having a cap allow u to bleed the air easy?

I got a email reply from zzp I asked them about if u need an opt b to bleed this effectively they said "the Stealth heat exchanger does not require the option B to be fully bleed since it has a filler cap directly on the HE"

I figured the same. Air should just collect at the top. Time to delete the stock filler cap and no need for a option B. I'm ordering mine Monday. Just gotta keep eye on it and keep topping off

Had my bad experience's with ZZP in the past. I'm ordering this and a new 3in Intake.

Did you know that every cooling system in every car for the engine, has an air bleed pipe to the reservoir? The LSJ stock did not. GM corrected that with the option B system. Its your choice to march to a different drum.

Not yet test fitted for the Redline.

Honestly I don't see how it can possibly fit. The front end of the car restricts access to the top fill of the HE, and radiator beam support doesn't look like you can wedge a HE that large in between it. If it does fit for sure, I'd love to see pics showing fitment. I'd definitely be interested then
