You have TONS of room it's great. I can't even fit my skinny pinky finger in between my brambo's/winter rims.

I had to put a 5mm spacer in between my Ion Redline wheels to be safe only about 1-2mm clearance otherwise. Wish I could go back and do it over again with the ZZP kit being out. It doesn't come with the OEM parts though which is why I can see it being less.

really nice man... i have a question and wondering if anyone knows the specs would the cobalt brembos mount the same as the camaros? so i could buy the rotors lines pads and bracket and just use the stock cobalt brembos? anyone got specs on both the brembos or just know if it would fit?

Wow! These are HUGE! Is there more than 1/2" between the caliper and the bell of your wheels? I want to know if there is any hope in hell of these working with 17" winter wheels. I don't want to have to shell out the $$$ for 18" wheels and snow tires.

I don't see how those would ever work with a 17'' wheel.

Yea next time I'm out at summit i'll grab some drilled/slotted rotors and pads for the rear as well.

Just getting everything worn in and then i'll break in/seat the pads. Like em so far!

How do they feel? Do you notice a decrease in acceleration with the increase in rotating mass?

Why does no one get that the braking isn't changed, maybe the bite is better but the braking has more to do with the tires, what bigger brakes actually do is just resist fade better. The LSJ brakes and even base brakes can lock up the wheels for at the very least the first stop.

Exactly, right on the money. Can't tell you how many times I've had to tell my buddies that, they kept saying "oh geez you'll be slamming the dash when you even begin to touch the pedal"
Go test drive a new camaro that has these on the rear and even bigger ones on the front, guess what it drives fine lol.

As far as rotating mass its hard to tell, saved a few pounds with this wheel and tire combo over stock, and these rotors really didn't weigh that much more. Not to mention I just went s3 yesterday and been playing with HOM and 110octane so its a good but faster than before lol

Um, that's kinda what I meant. I have sticky tires that cause my stock Brembos to fade. Bigger brakes, no fade, deeper braking points, faster lap times. No sir, I don't get it.

Is the rotor that is in the kit an LNF rotor or from another car?

just to clear some things up for anyone who is interested and the conformation of this fitment.

OP wheels are 18x8, not 18x9 ... they have an offset of 40. They have a lot of clearance it looks like which is nice.

The rotors if i recall are huge and much larger than LNF rotors. The zzp bbk rotors are custom drilled and must be purchased from ZZP for the BBK.

If these rotors are indeed 14.5" then that is a great deal larger than the LNF, at least in diameter. LNF are 12.4" at front and 11.6" at rear, but I cannot find thickness specs on either and that also plays a role in fade resistance. LSJ brakes are even smaller, 11.6" front and 10.6" rear if I recall right, so this is quite a jump.

Problem is now it looks like you don't even have brakes in the rear. Check out that profile shot.

Any negatives using those wheels? I was looking at getting some wheels exactly like that. Also how is the fade resistance comparative to stock?

Well I can confirm these fit under the enkei ekm3's as well.
Long story short, I traded my lsj in on a LNF about a month ago (found one for a steal, 16k miles on it, unmolested, one adult owner, couldn't pass it up), luckily I had a few days and got to pull everything I wanted off the lsj.

Thinking I'll Fab up some brackets and get the stock brembos mounted on the rear =)

It's more so about maintaining the same fluid volume, while the Brembo rear brakes may work you'll need to switch to a drum in the center and the brake balance would still be off.

Yea I ran into that on my jeep when I put bigger Wildwood 1ton brakes on all 4, if anything I'll do like there and upgrade the master, plus I wouldn't be against using a brake balancer

And I could give a **** about retaining my ebrake, ain't gonna roll away in my garage lol
