i have a catless pipe too and i just got tired of the noise.. i mean i had awesome power with it and i loved that part nothing like nice airflow...but the sound was just so loud and over powering it kinda took away from my car...but then again i had nothing but straight pipe too...maybe it will be different if i have the stock catback but too bad i already cut off the resonator and muffler so im stuck with straight pipe now. any suggestions on what to do?

Damn 2k miles and no issues! That is what i am talking about. I like ZZP but from all the issues the ss/sc guys had with our flex pipe, i am just curious how the LNF ones are holding up! Its between ZZP and hahn for me.

You could always buy a resonator and muffler or do one at a time until if feels/sounds better to your liking! Just a suggestion!

If you think there is too much noise, get rid of the stock catback.

My 3 inch MBS is quieter than the stock catback with the catless dp

I hear the HAHN catback is damn quiet as well! Just an FYI I can say that the catless downpipe on the stock catback is just right!

You know that would be very appreciated. A drive video would be great too. I am curious to see how it sounds!

sorry to reincarnate this thread, but i just wanted some opinions. i am looking into getting the zzp mid-length header and downpipe combo. i currently have the jbp vortex header (spur of the moment) and a cobalt addiction xtc catless downpipe. what options should i get for the combo? i want to stay catless as well.

Well since my thread was reopened from the depths here... I will give another report...

Over 13,300 miles on the downpipe STILL NO CEL's, NO leaks, NO ANYTHING... has been by far the best fitting, and worry free part on my car...

I now have it attached to a 3" HAHN catback with muffler delete... I have some cold start and idle vids of it... just search 06sssc on Youtube and you can see it.

Thanks ZZP although I didn't get a sticker or the cool little welded ZZP plate on it... but I guess thats what happens when you get one of the first ones!
