ZZP - Big brake kit?
#26
Caliper will be twin piston aluminum red with wrinkle black bracket.
Shown below is stock SS supercharged 11.5"
Stock SS turbo w/ brembo 12.5"
Prototype rotor we're using for mockup of several kits. 14.5". Larger than new Camaro, new vette or GT500. When you're ready to get serious, ZZP will be waiting for you.
Price will be far less than anything of this caliber on the market for any platform.

Bump. Any updates on the subject of a big brake kit for the SS/TC?
Either from ZZP or Powell?
Can we adapt the 2014 carbon ceramic Camaro Z28 brakes for the Cobalt lol?
But seriously, I need more braking power for the track.

I dont think the TC needs bigger brakes. A thicker vented floating rotor I use lasts for ever.
but for the track less brake = faster.
not the answer you are looking for, I am certain.
good luck.
ps the brake hardware can be changed, but the front rear balance is important . and ceramic /carbon rotors are retarder expensive. And to what end?

Honestly, if your stock rotors and pads lasted you 75K miles, getting anything but stock replacement is major overkill. I'm on my 3rd set of pads in the rear and about to buy my 5th set for the front, on two sets of rotors all around. After 35K miles. And unless I'm at the track, I'm still running stock brakes.

With me shifting the focus on my camaro( 1/4 mile...) the cobalt also gets it focus shifted (more backroading and handling oriented). Also I do backroad the car fairly often and the stockers are just plain horrible for this (yes I know pads and a fluid flush would fix most of that).
