ZZP H/E Problem

So I was attempting to install my zzp heat exchanger today and after finally getting everything bolted up and everything all back together... fire it up... now I have a leak from the left side of the heat exchanger and I'm wondering wtf I should do about it. So the car is sitting overnight right now at the auto shop while I think about this and ponder options. Going to go dick with it tomorrow morning but I honestly think I got a bum h/e. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Well since that's just an end tank and no lines running out I'd say you got a bum HE.

Agreed. Contact ZZP so they can make it right.

Maybe the bleeder screw or whatever they use on that one isn't tightened all the way?

I just had the same problem. Filled it and started to leak almost immediately.I'm going to pressure test it tomorrow and see where the leak is coming from.

ZZP should fix it, thats impossible to be your fault.

On a side note, did the red ZZP stencil come already on it or did you put that on?

hooked everything up again today... still leaks (figured it would... leaks don't usually just fix themselves unfortunately). so off it came and back into the box it went. Calling zzp at lunch tomorrow to see what they say.
