Id rather choose option C, get rid of them,

gasket sealer doesnt work because the flanges are warped because of how they were welded

Already surpassed OTTP's testing.. Which was none.

Has anyone even dynoed with the OTTP setup? I know when it was released they had absolutely nothing to back it up. Not very good marketing IMHO.

Off-topic: I received my IC Pump today, installed and works great! Thanks ZZP, you guys rock!

ZZP's prices are always competitive with the comp. and most of the time beats the comps. prices

I'm sure this header will be awesome quality for a cheaper price

I currently am rushing around trying to fix mine so I can pass inspection, real great thing to try to deal with when you dont have a lift or garage and work retail hours and have to take it someplace and try to get rides being without a car
If you do get rid of your current zzp header you should get a clearimage header instead as nobody has reported any leaks or issues with that header combo. I personally have it myself and its a very well made product.

in all fairness the ottp header is not all that expensive. cti costs more, hahn shorty and downpipe cost more, vibrant with cat costs more, vibrant with cat delete costs more, etc.

The OTTP Header got a bad rep for being expensive because it was when first released. They've reduced the price a lot since. Frew was one of the first ones to get one and paid over 800 after the addons. Now it's below 600.

IMO, the CIA is the best bang for buck.

We'll have better pricing than OTT and a program of some type to help out people who bought mid-length and want to upgrade.

you mean similar to this?

Long Tube Header...........................................$ 599.00

Customizations:

Exit Flange Size: 3.0" Flange

Highflow Cat: High Flow Catalytic Converter.......$100.00

O2 Sensor Bung: Extra O2 Sensor Bung............$15.00

Vehicle Model: Chevy Cobalt

EGT: EGT Bung.............................................. .$15.00

Primary Size: 1.75" Primary Size

Subtotal:......................................... .............$729.00

Shipping: UPS Ground......................................$57.63

Total:............................................ ...............$786.63

i still love mine, even with out dyno numbers

nice to see a bit of competetive vending tho!

...now someone needs to get a bone stock car no tune or anything and then slap on the ottp long tube, dyno it, then slap on the zzp long tube and dyno it so we can see a real difference!

you really need to tune long tube setups to make the most of them. Otherwise, say ZZP's flows better than OTTP's, and you use a stock tune for both. On a dyno, you'll just have a car that is even more off from expected values by the OEM tune and might actually make less power, even though it would make more power if both were tuned.

At any rate, this is an awesome piece, and looks amazing!

how do you gauge a gain on a stock tune kinda need to tune it to see the true benefit

Yes. It was a long night working on my GP, then got Tim's car on the dyno for a few hours, then my truck wouldn't start- PCM security issues with the remote start. I just got home.

Anyway, huge numbers. We will post tomorrow. Don't wait up.
