It may not be the most effective component for handling, but it's got to do a little bit. I'm just getting mine because it will match the rear sway bar that I'll be picking up later (color wise). I'm doing a silver/black theme with a hint of red here and there.

A strut tower brace on these cars helps handling but not a ton. This is why it's critical to choose the one you run carefully. Because it only helps a little, if you add a heavy one, it may be self defeating. Adding weight above the center of gravity makes your car handle worse.
That is why ZZP chose exotic materials to contruct theirs. It's very strong, yet weighs a mere 2 lbs 10 ounces.
