Is this the piece that actually connects to the clutch pedal?

On an LNF it's pretty much manditory if you want your clutch to work properly. The LNF has a clutch position sensor and when you change the pressure plate it screws everything up so the car doesn't shift properly at times. Matt can can explain it better as the LNF is his and he had problems until we figured this out and installed one. Many people mistakenly believe the clutch is screwed up or the install was done wrong when this is really the issue.

There are a few threads about people with clutch engagement/ dis-engagement issues this could solve them, inexpensively! I think some of them have used an lsj tob which has a shorter throw causing problems too.

you guys over at zzp always produce the best stuff. keep up the good work over there. we all know you guys have the GTP in the 8's on stock block... when can ya guys put the LSJ or LNF in that range lol. however GTP is FTW i know some scary ones that run 12's with full interior and street tires lol

well, i ordered me one, i have never had any issues with my CM stage 4, put 13,000 miles on it myself never with any issues. but how exactly and where does this lil gadget install? how long does it take, what kinda tools, and how can it be adjusted? cuz my pedal travel is long as ****, but it starts lettin go just with a slight inch, i never have to push all the way down to shift, so how can i go about adjusting it to where i dont have to have all that leftover play?

it connects to the top of the clutch pedal IIRC. The idea is to get the clutch back in stock location. You probably have to push yours in further after upgrading the pressure plate?

nah, hahn set it up nice for me, i barely have to push the pedal to shift any gears, at any RPMs.... what im sayin is though is that after it "disengages" i have like a full leg extend of pedal that does nothing, and i want to eliminate that...

this would let you do that. It's adjustable in both directions.

I think you have the tool part covered pretty well by yourself.

Seriously? Buying a part and having no clue how to install it or what it really does.

dunno, never had an issue with any of the cars I"ve done clutches on, but hell anything is possible. I ran the exedy hyper in my car for a year with daily driving duty (work in manhattan, shitty traffic). clutch always disengaged by the top of travel.
