Why is it that it took a VENDOR 3 pages before they even attempted to answer questions from the OP and page 1?
Was it that hard to say,"Honestly we don't know what it can handle, so far the highest numbers posted it can hold(that we know of) are xxxhp and xxxtq,"? I would have been satisfied with that in your first post, I honestly wouldn't have wasted the time to read this whole thread just to find out how unprofessional a supposed reputable company can be.

We already did provide an estimate of what it can handle before this thread was made. It was the context of the thread making it sound like our answer was dishonest that started the debate. I won't come into a thread where someone is trying to discredit us and proceed to answer questions like that never happened. Some companies will. Others will just hide. We don't take either route. We put the facts out there and let people decide if they like them or not.
Even though it did happen, let's not try and say it didn't now...
That^^
Chris tuned you? He did a ton of tuning on my car as well. He knows how to make some serious HP, Im currently on trans #4 and going in to motor #2. I like having too much HP lol.
I think the 4t65eHD swap would be my only path if I were in your shows at this point, but thats just me, good luck with the car and keep doing work breaking those parts. Ill do the same here

I hope when you fix your car you magically pick up 100 whp and 1000rpms of spool on the same tune you had previously like the car should.. and it was just the engine was hurt
but seriously though.. if someone blows 5 transmissions that are auto .. the first thing I would look at is the things that were the same on all of them the tune and the driver not the product

sounds like a great tuner.. you only put down 438 whp at 28 psi on a 362 ( or whichever it is) and hes blown 5 transmissions including 3 built ones?.. that sounds like exactly who I want to be tuning my car

Just thought I would update my situation in here for others who are curious on going with the 4t65ehd option...
Ended up being quoted $14,725
Not sure on some of it as to why it's even in there, it wasn't explained at all. And I didn't ask... Just saw the end price and ran haha

Tim asked me to write up a quote for a 4t65 trans setup with all the best parts we could offer and custom install in your Cobalt. That's where everything comes out to. Some of that stuff could be eliminated, such as running without a trans brake, running a cheaper converter, running a more basic trans controller, etc... You would still be looking at about $11k-$12k if we kept things more basic. It's just a really big job to make that swap.
